Run down by the drunken taxicabs of Absolute Reality

Happy Anniversary, you howling beat maniacs! October 7th marks the 50th anniversary of the reading of Allen Ginsberg's landmark poem "Howl" at Six Gallery in San Francisco. The date will be suitably commemorated in San Fran (natch) and - wait for it - Leeds UK. The Guardian clues us in. In the immortal words of Jack Kerouac: "Go, go, go!"

I tell ya' - some days are just "Howl" days. (Just as some are "23rd Psalms" days or "Jabberwocky" days or "Hey-Diddle-Diddle" days.)

Watch out for those Absolute Reality drunken taxicabs today.
