Just finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Had the day off from work yesterday and spent most of the time "P/pottering." Did manage a few errands but was most contented keeping my nose in the book throughout the day and night. Couldn't read the last 100 or so pages fast enough.
Still have a few questions, though. You know where to find me if you want to discuss.
OK. Back to the real world now. I'm heading to a bookstore with some of the suggestions you gave to my question a couple of weeks ago "What cha' readin'?" I'll let you know what I find.

What?! Fifteen comments on fresh produce and mooseheads and none on Harry Potter? Everybody must've eaten some bad gurdy roots or something. I thought Harry #7 was fantastic. The perfect end to the series, artfully done. When I closed the book I was 99% satisfied-- just wished she'd included Luna in the epilogue.
Yeah, I know. I'm always amazed at what garners lots of comments what what doesn't. Things that I think are a sure thing get zero, and the toss-offs get a slew.
Guess we'll have to talk by phone re: Potter #7.
Ok, here goes my Harry Potter take. Got the book Sat. morning and resisted opening it until Sun. morning because I knew I would not get anything else done if I even red page one.
Well, yesterday was totally a "nose in book" day. I start today on page 435.
My favorite line, so far, "She's nuttier than squirrel poo."
Ok, I may be over 60 but I have read every one of these books and will sorely miss them. Thanks J.K.!!
Big Bro.
Guess you didn't watch last night's Dateline, where Meredith Viera interviewed JK, eh? Lots of spoilers - though they did give "spoiler alerts" so you could mute the sound if you hadn't finished reading the book. They sure answered some of my questions.
Finished yet, Bro?
Oh. And yes - I loved the line "nuttier than squirrel poo."
