Missing Kanuga

It's Kanuga-time for All Saints' parish/Atlanta. Except for 1996, I've been a part of that wonderful weekend every year since 1983 - Kate, as a 4-month-old, was the youngest attendee. I posted about Kanuga last year - here and here - so I won't repeat myself. I can't believe I won't have any Kanuga apples to munch on for the next month. Sigh. BIG Sigh.

Hoping you found something as wonderful (apples and company) in Alexandria.

Actually, it was a pretty ponderous conference, though I met some interesting people. Didn't get a chance to stroll through old town Alexandria - which is fun - so, no. Not quite apples and friends - but thanks for your good wishes.

Remember the trickle-down effect that Kanuga has. Everybody at Perkins+Will is going to be missing their apple pie this year, let alone me. Sigh.

Yes, Garth - tomorrow, it will sink in to the PDub heads and tummies that - hey! - our annual Kanuga apple pie isn't here. Sorry. I'm missin' 'em, too.
