Spoolie Memories Redux

A good friend reminded me via email - and before seeing the last post - that:

. . . shorty pajamas aren't anything without little blue spoolies to wrap your strands of hair around. Most girls had a head full of them when they went to bed at night, especially at a slumber party (today known as sleepovers and not at all the same--xbox has replaced ghost stories). The glamourous rubber spoolies preceded orange juice cans. They came later."

And she grew up in Louisiana! Guess that Spoolie-fear never leaves you!
