Love the photos. Jingle Jingle. It didn't snow here until after dark, and it's all gone this morning. Did you ever get boots last year?

Thanks, Elsie. Snow's all gone here, too. We're supposed to get more later in the week. We'll see. And yes, I got boots last year - they came in reaaaal handy yesterday in my tromp through Central Park!

Gorgeous pictures Mary...some are worthy of framing. We had about as much snow as you did, but it's mostly gone now. I think we're expecting more...here comes winter....stay warm sweetie...

Meanwhile, down South: we went shopping for a Christmas tree in our shirtsleeves yesterday. Oh what I'd give to see a little snow...And your photos are gorgeous! You always were good at photography-- could become a lucrative sideline for you, even!

Aw, that's so lovely and Christmassy! One of the perennial images of Christmas is people in NY skating, and the enormous Chrsitmas tree.

Joy - Yes, you get it before we do, so we always cast an eye out for your winter weather as a heads-up. I'm sure we're all in for more this winter!

Carey - I'll try to bring some when I come in a couple of weeks! (No promises, though.)

Liz - I did think about hopping the train down to Rockefeller Center for some snow tree/skaters shots, but contented myself with Central Park. I took a photo of skaters at the Lasker Rink in the park, but it's not as pretty as the rink in front of Prometheus.
