The deadline set by the Swords of Justic Brigades to execute the four members of the Christian Peacemakers Teams has passed. There has been no word yet on the fate of my former classmate Tom Fox, British hostage Norman Kember, and Canadians James Loney and Harmeet Singh Sooden. Various reports from The Times, The Guardian, and CNN say that many Muslim groups have spoken on behalf of the hostages, urging the Swords group to release them.Read my original post about Tom here.
